Twmbalan
Went for a long walk today up the tump and took lots of photos - it was very hot at the bottom but there was a lovely cool breeze at the top - saw some horses and one of them came over and started licking in my hand.
The view from the top of the tump is amazing and on a clear day you can see all the way to Bristol and Cardiff a wonderful day

Les Sables d'Olonne pt 1
Well it's mid July and I'm still working on the holiday photos - anyway nearly there now - only one more folder to go through and 3 including Les Sables d'Olonne to upload here - hopefully be done soon, ready for further photographic adventures throughout the summer.
Les Sables d'Olonne was a lovely seaside town and we enjoyed wandering around and riding on the little ferry to get to the other side of the inlet - even though we did have truoble finding the car after

British Summertime
Well British Summertime is back to normal - that is to say misty and raining - obviously it's been so dry that we really need the rain to keep coming for a little while.
So no photography since the weekend so am working on the photos I have already taken, the rest of the holiday pics, some from the garden of the birds and flowers - hopefully will post some tomorrow night. Though I can't guarentee it. I am on a First Aid Course this week so that is taking up the most of the day. Then it's dinner and bath and bedtime - hoe the weather clears up by the weekend - dying to get out and about again!

Flowers along the canal
Well the last time I took a walk along the canal there were lots and lots of flowers around - so making a change from trees and water shots here are the flower shots
Incidently this weekend is supposed to be the hottest so far in which case there will be very litle photography done but lots of sunbathing in the garden - break out the factor 50!

The photographers view of the world
I was talking to a friend of mine who has never really been into photography. I gave him the link to this blog and he was impressed and said he was considering buying a camera if I would help him learn to use it - of course I said yes! Well I was talking to him again today and explained that once he starts taking photos he will start to see the world in a differnt way. I explained he will see things that other people don't notice. Well that really excited him and he says on payday he's off to get a camera!
It's true though I see things my friends and family don't. Countless times I have stopped and taking of photo and someone has said 'What are you taking a picture of?' because they don't see what I see and then when I've transfered the pictures to the pc and shown people the photo they have said 'I never even noticed that.'
I love photography and I love the way it makes me look at the world
