Took a walk into Risca the other day it was such a nice afternoon and I haven't been out for a while with the camera for two reasons the first is the weather has been atrocious, and while I don't mind the cold I really hate getting wet. The second reason is I have had a really bad cold, and am still waking up in the morning feeling like I have razor blades in my throat. So here are my meagre offerings.

Finally work has begun on the Palace - the old cinema building has been abandoned and in disrepair for many years - this month however has seen the main part of the building demolished while the listed façade is being preserved. The plan is that Tesco will build a new library and community resource centre as well as opening a Tesco Express - it will be interesting to see how the finished project will look and I will post developments as and when the occur
