As you drive around Cornwall, you will begin to notice lots of chimneys and ruined buildings dotted around the landscape, these are the remnants of Cornwall's once thriving Tin Mines, now many stand in ruins. Previously on this blog I posted photos of Geevor Tin Mine,which has been restored and opened as a tourist attraction, however the majority of the mines lie in ruins like the one below:
If you do visit Cornwall and get chance to stop and look at some of these remaining tower I would really advise it as they are fascinating.
